[The type of Salix jejuna Fernald is from Cape Norman, nwNfld. Salix jejuna is reported from limestone barrens along the Strait of Belle Isle, nwNfld. (Bouchard et al., 1991). Lab. reports (Chateau Bay) have been rejected by G. Argus (pers. comm).  Two specimens at MT of an unnamed hybrid of Salix glauca var. cordifolia × Salix jejuna were identified by G. Argus in 2001. The 2 specimens were collected from Watts Point Ecological Reserve by Djan-Chékar et al. in 2000.]
