[Porsild & Cody (1980) show a sLabrador distribution, but Aiken et al. (1999) do not, and an additional wLab. report (Hultén 1961) refers to "Knob Lake, Labrador", now called Shefferville, Québec. However, the Panarctic Flora (PAF) includes Labrador in the range of Carex heleonastes, but notes that it is rare. Canadensys considers its presence in Labrador as doubtful (Brouillet et al. 2010+).]
