[There is one historic Nfld. location in the Atlas (Rouleau & Lamoureux 1992) for Carex pellita, from the Barachois Brook area, near Stephenville Crossing); a more recent location from Point Riche (Port-au-Choix Peninsula, nwNfld.) was discovered by the NFRPP team in 1999 (NFM, MT).  A single Labrador report (Day 1995) is unconfirmed and doubtful.]
