[A 2022 article by Knapp, Gandhi, Naczi, & Floden in Phytotaxa 566 (2): 242-244, reports that the name Juncus tweedyi (Rydberg 1990) has priority over the name Juncus brevicaudatus (Fernald 1904).  Juncus brevicaudatus (Engelm.) Fernald is now listed as a synonym of Juncus tweedyi Rydb.  NL reports by Boivin of Juncus brachycephalus (Engelm.) Buch. are also now referred to Juncus tweedyi.]
