[Juncus subcaudatus was known historically from riverbanks and shoreline thickets in central Nfld. and the southern Avalon (see Hay et al., 1990; Bouchard et al., 1991). It was recently relocated in 2000 and 2001 from 3 locations in western and central Nfld. by members of the NFRPP, C. Hanel, J. Hancock, and N. Djan-Chekar, and H. Thomas (Djan-Chékar et al. 2004).]
