[Potamogeton obtusifolius is known from two small ponds in w/nwNfld. (Bouchard et al., 1991); an additional Nfld. location requires validation (L. Brouillet, pers. comm., Nov. 2016). This species was previously reported from the Labrador side of the Blanc Sablon River, but the site of this collection is now considered part of Québec; thus P. obtusifolius is no longer considered present in Labrador.]
