[=Empetrum conradii Torr. (basionym)]

[=Tuckermania conradii (Torr.) Klotzsch]
[Corema conradii does not occur in NL and no herbarium specimens of Corema conradii are known from Nfld. Fernald's 1911 accounts of seeing Corema conradii from the train on his first visit to Nfld. are referred to Empetrum nigrum, very common along the former train route. I’m sure Fernald soon realized that his far-distance ID of that species was a true crowberry (Empetrum) rather than a broom crowberry (Corema).]
