[This 'Heritage' cultivar occasionally persists in Nfld. outports, such as in François, sNfld. and in established gardens.  It is sometimes sold in nurseries under the name Geum borissi hort. (T. Boland, pers. comm. May 2015 and GRIN), but this is not the same taxon as the hybrid Boris' avens, Geum ×borisii Kellerer ex Sünd. (G. bulgaricum × G. reptans), which is also an orange-coloured avens.]
