[Hultén's (1968) distribution map for Lemna minor includes a small swNfld. range, as well as St. Pierre & Miquelon (GH). Rouleau (1978) includes Lab. in the distribution of L. minor, but Dr. Elias Landolt, author of the FNA Lemna treatment (FNA 2000), has seen no specimens from either Newfoundland or Labrador. NL reports are referred to Lemna turionifera (E. Landolt, pers. comm., 1/28/2000).]
