[=Erysimum inconspicuum (S.Watson) MacMill. var. coarctatum (Fernald) Rossbach]
[Classified as historically present (SH) in Bouchard et al. (1991), Erysimum coarctatum was relocated at Chimney Cove, wNfld., by A. Marceau & M. Burzynski, June 1995 (GMNP), and Marceau et al., August 1995 (MT) (Meades 1995b). According to Sabourin (1992), Bouchard et al. (1991), and Scoggan (1978), Erysimum inconspicuum var. coarctatum was considered endemic to the Gulf of St. Lawrence, but Warwick et al. (1999) elevated this taxon to specific status and expanded the disjunct distribution west to Alaska, with a more northerly range than E. inconspicuum.]
