[=Erysimum inconspicuum (S.Watson) MacMill. var. coarctatum (Fernald) Rossbach]
[Classified as historically present (SH) in Bouchard et al. (1991), Erysimum coarctatum was relocated at Chimney Cove, wNfld., by A. Marceau & M. Burzynski, June 1995 (GMNP), and Marceau et al., August 1995 (MT) (Meades 1995b). According to Sabourin (1992), Bouchard et al. (1991), and Scoggan (1978), Erysimum coarctatum was considered endemic to the Gulf of St. Lawrence, but Warwick et al. (1999) expanded the distribution west to Alaska, with a more northerly disjunct range.
