[Since the first Nfld. collection of this species in 1989 (Sabourin 1992), it has been collected at several roadside locations in nw and neNfld. (S.J. Meades 1995a and unpublished data) and recently collected in Goose Bay, cLab. by S.J. Meades and W.J. Meades (MT) on July 17, 2017. In Europe, the original spelling, Erysimum hieracifolium, is now the accepted spelling, although in North America, E. hieraciifolium is the accepted spelling. Also in Europe, the name Erysimum virgatum Roth is accepted over E. hieraciifolium for this taxon.]
