[Previously reported as Huperzia appalachiana × Huperzia selago. Specimens at MT of this hybrid firmoss, Huperzia ×josephbeitelii, are listed in Canadensys from wNfld. (Killdevill, Mt. Stamford, Newman Sound; Table Mt., Trout River, plateau above Western Brook Pond, [all GMNP] and nwNfld. [L'Anse aux Meadows]). At least one specimen was annotated by Beitel. A collection from wLab. by Hustich (CAN 313250) is reported from "Grand Falls", presumably Churchill Falls (J. Maunder, pers. comm., May 2015).]
