[In insular Nfld., Ranunculus macounii was reported from alluvial shores (Bouchard et al. 1991). A new population has been located in the Lewis Hills, wNfld, S.G. Hay and L. Brouillet, 1999 (MT). The first verified report of Ranunculus macounii from Labrador was made by Claudia Hanel in 2004 from seLab.  Specimens are deposited in NFM, MT, and CAN. An older report of Ranunculus macounii from the Hamilton (Churchill) River Basin remains unverified.]
