[Hybrids between Platanthera dilatata and P. hyperborea can occur, although they are indistinguishable from P. huronensis, which is of hybrid origin (P. Catling, pers. comm., 1997). A Labrador specimen of Coeloglossum viride at NFM has been re-annotated to P. huronensis (J. Maunder, pers. comm., 11/2000). The full Labrador range of this species has not been clarified yet.]
