[Previously classified as historically present in Nfld. (Bouchard et al. 1991), Taraxacum laurentianum was known to occur on slaty talus. The type specimen is from HaHa Bay, Raleigh, nwNfld. T. laurentianum has been confirmed from L'Anse-Amour, seLab., on limestone scree by Pierre Morisset (1994: QFA0602370), Mike Oldham (1995: TRTE, #19111), and Marcel Blondeau (2005: QFA0520760).]
