[Subsp. circumvagum probably extends into seLabrador, as specimens of this subspecies are reported from close to the Québec-Labrador border (P. Hoch, pers. comm., 2000); however, no specimens have yet been collected. Chamerion angustifolium subsp. angustifolium is diploid (n=18), while subsp. circumvagum is tetraploid (n=36).]
